Culinary magazine Taste Atlas published a list of the worst-rated dishes from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Gurabija is in first place with a rating of 2.8 out of five. Although there are many variations of this dessert, it is most often made from eggs, baking powder or baking soda, butter or margarine, and dairy products such as miller, yogurt or milk. Vanilla powder or sugar, lemon zest, nuts and dried fruit are also added.
Behind it is presnac (3,1), a Herzegovinian pie with cheese. It is made from fresh cheese, cream or sour cream, eggs, milk, flour, oil, salt and baking powder.
Followed by buranija and sogan-dolma (3.4), popara and walnuts (3.5). The mentioned small cookies are made from only three ingredients – egg whites, sugar and walnuts.
Further on the list are kadaif, sutlijaš, kalja (3.6), tufahija, permašica, bey’s soup, roses (3.7), japrak, Bosnian pot, Tuzla kebabs, figs (3.8) and klepe (3.9).
