Dodik: Republika Srpska will soon cut off Contact with the US and the UK Embassies

The President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik announced that at the meeting of the ruling coalition in the RS, it was agreed to make a decision to be adopted by the Government of the RS and the National Assembly of RS (NARS) on the termination of contact with the United States (U.S.) and the United Kingdom (UK) embassies in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Allegedly, a team is already being formed that will compile comprehensive information on “the anti-Dayton activities of the U.S. and the UK diplomats and embassies, as well as their interference in the internal affairs of BiH”.

“The Dayton Agreement was not signed by the U.S. or the UK, they are not the ones who could interpret the Dayton Agreement because it is a matter of the signatory countries of the agreement and its annexes. U.S. and UK diplomats and embassies are systematically destroying the Constitution of BiH and other annexes,” Dodik pointed out.

He believes that the U.S. ambassador to BiH, Michael Murphy, “openly supports the call to arms of Muslims in BiH”.

The ruling coalition believes that such behavior is “a direct blow to possible reconciliation in BiH”.

“Therefore, we are forced to suspend all contacts with the mentioned representatives of the embassies. The representatives of the authorities in the RS and the representatives of the Serbs at the level of BiH, from the Presidency of BiH, the Council of Ministers, and the Parliamentary Assembly, will suspend the contacts,” announced the SNSD leader.

It is expected that the Government of the RS will make such a decision next week and that the NARS will adopt it at the next regular session, but it is possible to organize an extraordinary session on this issue.

“The U.S. and the UK forced us to do this because it is obvious that in addition to all the previous violations of the Dayton Agreement, especially Annex 4 and Annex 10, they are preparing another fraud and robbery related to property, which undoubtedly and without a doubt belongs to the RS. Any measures taken by the aforementioned enemies of Serbian interests regarding the assets of the RS will lead to decisions that will protect its sovereignty and further build its state capacity,” Dodik concluded, Klix.ba reports.
