Due to Floods and Landslides 89.981 Persons Displaced

floodsOn today’s session, the Council of Ministers became familiar with the Information from the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of the consequences of floods in Bosnia and issues of reconstruction of housing units.

According to the Information from the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, due to floods and landslides in BiH 89.981 people are displaced, 1,943 residential units are completely destroyed, while 41,306 housing units are damaged making a total of 43,249 housing units.

Every three months, or maybe more frequently, the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees will submit to the Council of Ministers information on resolving the issue of housing which is caused by floods and landslides and with proposed measures to improve the situation in this area.
