Bosnian international Džanan Musa is no longer a member of Real Madrid. As announced by the Spanish giant, the contract with Musa was terminated by mutual consent, and the club thanked him for everything and wished him luck in the continuation of his career. Spanish media report that Musa will sign a three-year contract with the Dubai club, worth around 10 million euros. The new team from the United Arab Emirates will compete in the Euroleague starting next season, after his debut in the ABA League, which also marks Musa’s return to the regional competition where he previously played for Cedevita.

Musa said goodbye to Real with an emotional message, thanking the fans, teammates, coaches and the entire club staff:

The time has come to say goodbye. It has been three years of basketball at the highest level, many victories and unforgettable titles. I want to thank all the fans who supported us at the WiZink Center and now at the Movistar Arena, as well as in away games. Your support means more than words can describe. Thanks to my teammates, doctors, coaches and the whole staff. You helped me become a better player and person, said Musa, and added: Finally, I want to say that in these three years I have grown into someone who loves Madrid. This city and club will forever remain a part of me. Forever a Madridista, see you soon.

Musa has been a member of Real since 2022, and previously played for Rio Breogan, Anadolu Efes, Brooklyn Nets and Cedevita. In the last Euroleague season, he averaged 12.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2 assists. With Real, he won a total of six trophies, including the Euroleague (2023), two Spanish league titles, the Copa del Rey and two Super Cups.

Before going to Dubai, and after the rest, Musa will join the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will play in the European Championship at the end of August and the beginning of September.
