The football representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the “St. James Park” stadium in Newcastle performed their last training tonight before tomorrow’s friendly match with England.
“We tried to prepare as well as possible for the little time we had until the game. We analyzed a lot and talked to each other. We will try to present ourselves in the best possible light and try to fulfill all the tactical ideas we have outlined. All players who are in the national team are there for a reason, regardless of their age. We believe in the project and all of us who make up this national team,” said Ninoslav Milenkovic, coach in the professional staff of the football national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Edin Dzeko, the captain of Bosnia and Herzegovina, attracted a lot of attention from the British media in Newcastle.
“This is a new national team with many young players and everyone needs to be given some time. It is not easy to play against England in England and Italy in Italy. You have to be realistic and say that these are the national teams that are favorites to win the European Championship, and I am especially thinking about our opponents tomorrow. For us, the most important thing is that the players get to know the way of work of the new coach and the professional staff, to bring it to a satisfactory level. Even now that I am 38 years old, and even before, playing for the national team is a great pride and a dream for me. As long as the coach and coaching staff need me, I’m here,” said Dzeko.
The friendly match between England and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be played tomorrow, June 3, at 8:45 p.m. CET at the “St. James Park” stadium in Newcastle, AA writes.
