Džumhur in the Second Round of the ATP Tournament in Casablanca

dzumhurB&H’s tennis player, Damir Džumhur, qualified for the second round of ATP Grand Prix Hassan II tournament in Casablanca.

At the start of the 494,000 euro tournament, our best ranked tennis player defeated Paul-Henri Mathieu in two sets 6: 2, 7: 6 (2). This 33-year-old French tennis player, currently ranked as 116th on the ATP list, and notably his best placement was in 2008 when he was the 12th ranked player in the world.

In the second round, the 22-year-old from Sarajevo, will face fourth seed Spaniard Marcel Granollers, the 50th player on the ATP list, who went through in the first round.
