lets-do-it-mostarEcological action named “Let’s do it”, will be divided in two phases in Mostar. The first phase is the cleaning phase, which is planned for 26th April, and the second phase is the planting of seedlings, which is planned for October 2014.

The youth council of  Mostar is the organizer of this action since its beginning. This year, there are six strategic cleaning places and they are: University Džemal Bijedić, University of Mostar, Vukovarska street, Old Town, Avenue and the space around Bunur bridge. The cleaning of the city will start at 11:30. On each of the locations, one coordinator will be placed and the task will be to guide the volunteers, to distribute the cleaning material and refreshments.

“The aim of this action is to wake up the ecological awareness of citizens. The thing we want to achieve is to, at least for one day, for people to go out and clean their yards and streets. That would be a success for us.”
