Edin Džeko, the captain of the football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Turkish Fenerbahce, delighted the Turkish public.

According to the Turkish media, Dzeko renounced his premium before the match with Galatasaray in Saudi Arabia, which is played as part of the Turkish Cup, and demanded that his share be distributed to the club’s employees.

“We already get paid by the club to play and win. We don’t need a premium to beat Galatasaray. Share my share with the club’s employees, let them enter the new year happy with their families,” said Džeko.

As a reminder, the match between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray is scheduled for Friday at 18:45. Dzeko played a total of 22 games for Fenerbahce this season in which he scored 16 goals and seven assists.

“I couldn’t play as much and as I wanted in the league match. However, it will be different in the Super Cup. I am in good physical condition and I will return with a goal,” Dzeko said, Turkish Sporx.com reports.

A few days ago, Diamond Edin Dzeko spent all 90 minutes on the field in the league match between Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

That match ended with a score of 0:0, and the referee handed out seven yellow cards and called as many as 45 fouls.
