Edin Dzeko is the new player of Italian Fiorentina, confirmed Fabrizio Romano. The captain of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a one-year contract with the option of extending it for another season, and he will earn between 1.5 and 1.8 million euros per season. Como was also interested in him.

Proven class in Serie A

Dzeko knows Serie A extremely well, where he played 268 games and scored 107 goals. According to the media, the negotiations between him and Fiorentina are progressing in the right direction and it seems that only the technical details remain before the official announcement of the deal.

Great career

In his career so far, Dzeko played for Željezničar, Teplice, Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Roma, Inter, Fenerbahce and the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He scored over 400 goals for clubs and the national team and won titles in Germany, England and Italy.

What was it like in Italy?

Dzeko played in Italy from 2015 to 2023, first for Roma, and then for Inter, with whom he won two Italian Super Cups and two Cups. He left a deep mark in Serie A and was the top scorer in the 2016/17 season, and a return to familiar surroundings could be the ideal end to his rich career.
