Efendic: With the Brussels Agreement, BiH has no Sovereignty

The President of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (SBiH), Semir Efendic, commented on yesterday’s meeting of of BH leaders in Brussels with the leaders of the European Union, referring to several points of the agreement that has been agreed.

On his Facebook profile, Efendic points to the fact that, among other things, it writes that preserving and building a peaceful, stable, sovereign and independent functional European state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs as constituent peoples (along with others), and citizens of BiH, which consists of two entities and the Brcko District, established in accordance with the Constitution and the General Framework Agreement for Peace – called a crazy shirt.

“The notion of constitutivity in the BiH Constitution is used in terms of the composition of the state from the entities, which is a matter of territorial organization, not the canonical status issue of individual peoples. According to this, Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats, neither with sound logic, nor with political and legal theory and practice “, wrote Efendic.

“According to the definition and logic of the agreement reached in Brussels, BiH has no sovereignty, although it is mentioned. With the constituent peoples, sovereignty is divided into three sovereignties, and three ‘constituent’ peoples are sovereign, not the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” it is state in Efendic’s Facebook post.

The leader of SBiH says that “lobbyists have failed to introduce the notion of constitutivity, which is foreign to any democracy and with which no state or democracy can function at all.”

Accordingly, as Efendic further points out, “SBiH respects the Constitution and laws of this country, but does not go below that, which certainly seems to be the canonization of the constituent peoples, which is imposed instead of giving rights to the citizen as a subject of the political system.”

He believes that Covic’s stay in the hotel room during the meeting is suspicious, and that he gained more than at any other meeting he attended.
“HDZ, like Croatia’s foreign policy, has been doing nothing for several years but talking about the constitutivity from which the alleged legitimacy derives,” Efendic concluded.
