Elvedin Varupa, the man who played 700 games for FC Travnik, died suddenly yesterday at the age of 40, when his heart stopped beating.
Varupa ended a long playing career in July last year. He has been wearing the captain’s armband of the team from Pirota for ten seasons.
Varupa played the last match for FC Travnik in 2014 in Prijedor.
Elvedin Varupa was born on November 16th 1975 in Vitez, and the funeral is to be held today at 1:30 p.m. at the graveyard Grbavica near Vitez.
