EU High Representative and EC -President Kaja Kallas to visit BiH Today

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina on Monday, 3 November.

The visit follows the extension of the mandate of the EUFOR Althea Mission today by the UN Security Council.

Kallas will first visit the EUFOR Althea headquarters in Camp Butmir, where she will be welcomed by the EUFOR Althea Mission Commander, Major General Florin-Marian Barbu, meet with members of the forces deployed in BiH as part of the mission, and address EUFOR staff.

Afterwards, Kallas will meet with the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, the EU Delegation to BiH announced.
