The EU has supported the development of tourism in Bihać Municipality and National Park through two strategically important projects – the project ‘Development of Eco-zone of NP Una and enriching its tourist offer’ which is implemented by PLOD Centar and Bihać Municipality and the project of over border cooperation ‘Una- Source of Life’ which is implemented by Una Sana Canton in cooperation with Zadar County of Croatia.

A great deal of activities has been planned, among them raising the awareness of local population about the tourist capacities of the Una River, equipping the Mountain Rescue Service, creating the info service of NP ‘Una’ in Bihać, finishing the Mountain Home on the Plješevica Mountain worth 12.500 EUR, building the bridge in Martin Brod worth 13.800 EUR, etc.

With the implementation of these projects the tourist offer will be significantly improved, and the NP ‘Una’ will be even more protected.
