The exhibition contains 14 works of small, medium and large format that show the appearance of bridges and parts of the city.

Director of the Museum of the City of Sarajevo Muamer Sehovic said that the museum hosted two exhibitions this year, “Remembering Walter” by Igor Radovanovic and the exhibition “Bridges of the city of Sarajevo”, which is made from the museum holdings.

According to him, this exhibition is some kind of document that shows the appearance of the old Sarajevo and bridges on the Miljacka River before and after decorating her banks, from Austro-Hungarian period until the mid-20th century, so that besides artistic, the exhibition also has a historical-documentary character.

Authors of paintings are mostly from the period of Austro-Hungarian rule, from 1878 to 1918, who stayed in Sarajevo for some time, when these works were created and presented.

The exhibition will be opened until the 16th of April.
