Natalija_CimesaB&H academic painter Natalija Cimeša, who lives and works in Tuzla, will present to the Sarajevo public an exhibition of paintings that will open on 5 February in the lobby of the building of friendship between Greece and B&H.

Cimeša confirmed to Fena Agency that the exhibition is set up in honor of the Chair of the EU, Greece, and will be held under the auspices of the Chairman of the B&H Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda and the Ambassador of Greece to B&H Karolos Gadis.

The exhibition also has a humanitarian character. ‘’I am making the exhibition primarily for support to the B&H Historical Museum. I plan to donate 60 percent of the proceeds to the Museum’’, said Cimeša.

This artist will present 18 oil paintings, and the topic of her works is ‘Otmica Evrope’ (kidnapping of Europe), for which Cimeša said is not only a myth but an act.

She clarifies that the metaphorical meaning of this topic indicates the transition from domination of female to the male principle, and sociologically means violence, and in a cultural loss of values.

The exhibition will be open to the public 21 days.
