Exhibition of sand paintings of Sanita Lisica

sanitaBiH artist Sanita Lisica opened her exhibition of paintings painted with sand from the Arabian Peninsula in the Cultural Centre of King Fahd in cooperation with Embassy of UAE in Sarajevo, reports Anadolu Agency.

Exhibition ‘Breath of Desert’ has 23 paintings painted with sand and apart from Lisica, Haris Silajdžić and ambassador of Saudi Arabia Eid Al-Thaqafi also opened the exhibition.

She said she uses special technique in order to keep sand in the canvas.

Al-Thaqafi said that he’s very glad to have opened the exhibition, and added that Lisica had an opportunity to improve her skills in Abu Dhabi and in Riyadh where she visited landmarks and learned Arabic and added that the exhibition is inspired by Arab lands

The exhibition will be opened until 1 June.
