The Museum of War Childhood organized the exhibition “Peace belongs to everyone” at the Square of Children of Sarajevo on the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day.

The Executive Director of the museum, Amina Krvavac, stated that they want to note that we should not take peace for granted by presenting personal stories and items of refugee children from Syria at the exhibition.

“In this way, we want to show the public that we have expanded our research activities from the conflict that happened here in the ’90s and we want to become the world’s largest archive of wartime childhood in the future,” stated Krvavac.

A total of 17 personal stories of refugee children from Syria living in refugee camps all over Lebanon were presented at the exhibition.

This setting also represents the announcement of a larger exhibition on the experience of the refugee children of Syria that the Museum is currently preparing.
