The exhibition “Testimony Truth or Politics” which is part of the project “Testimony Truth or Politics: A Concept Testimony in Commemoration of Yugoslav Wars” was opened in the Historical Museum of BiH.

A total of 15 international artists and art pairs was presented, and artistic approaches vary from archive to participative audio-visual and anthropological researches, as well as statistical and technological thinking.

The basis of the project is made of audio archive of more than 200 interviews with participants of the war and anti-war activists, and it also considers interviews and artwork as testimonies.

The Director of the History Museum of BiH, Elma Hasimbegovic, emphasized that the quality of the project is that it includes young people who have no war experience, i.e. generations born after the war, that are questioning the past, the past of their fathers, in order to live in a better society, and that “new generations want to deal with this issue”.

The exhibition represents a part of the project Europe for Citizens, and it is realized with the help of the Fund Open Society of BiH, and it will be open to visitors by April 6.

Last year, this exhibition was set up in Trento (Italy) and in Belgrade, and it will be presented in Banja Luka after Sarajevo.
