Export higher by 10 Percent in the first Eight Months

In the period January-August 2018 export amounted to 7 billion 820 million BAM, which is 10,4% higher than in the same period of 2017, and import amounted to 12 billion 674 million BAM, which is 8,2% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 61,7% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 4 billion 854 million BAM.

Export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 251 million BAM, which is 9,1% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 1 billion 526 million BAM, which is 4,1% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 82%.

Export to EU countries amounted to 5 billion 733 million BAM, which is 12,4% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 7 billion 614 million BAM, which is 6,7% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 75,3%.
