Former Space of the Concentration Camp in BiH, sold

The factory complex in Prijedor, where the Keraterm camp was located during the last war, was sold to a company from Celinac.

This information was confirmed by the President of the Assembly of the City of Prijedor and former detainee Mirsad Duratovic.

According to him, he appealed to raise money and buy this space, but in vain.

Keraterm served as a camp for the mass killing of Bosniaks and Croats from Prijedor. A total of 3,176 people were killed, including 102 children.

President of the Alliance of camp prisoners in B&H, Jasmin Meskovic, said that in one night, from 23rd to 24th July 1992, around 200 camp prisoners were brutally killed.

He emphasized that from May to August 1992, around 3000 camp prisoners passed through the camp Keratermwere exposed to horrible torture and suffering and 371 camp prisoner have not survived those tortures.

Meskovic said that tortures in Keraterm were daily occurrence and that camp prisoners lived in a terror and a constant fear.
