Fahrudin Kesic, a 36-year-old lawyer from Birmingham, is a real example of achieving the “American dream”, but in a British way. He came to Coventry from BiH with his family back in 1992, they started from scratch, worked very hard and learned a lot, and today he is well known and respected businessman.
The wealth of this young man from Kozarac in BiH is estimated at 12 million GBP and he owns three very successful companies in the UK, including Advantage Business Group, which is a large European corporation engaged in conducting business, financial and tax consulting, auditing, business restructuring, corporate finances, forensic services as well as all other legal services.
He is also a co-owner of MDC Group, which is present on the markets in Germany, Turkey, the United States, Saudi Arabia, etc. He is well known as an expert in the field of finances and operational restructuring of large companies.
“In the year 2013/14, we worked with around 250 regular clients, which include major corporations, banks, insurance companies, public and private sectors, and about 25 % of our customers are large international customers. We concentrated on the representation of companies and now we are working with around 300 regular clients. They are mostly large corporations, banks, insurance companies etc.,” said Kesic.
He employs more than 40 professionals and collaborates with a number of international consulting companies from New York, Paris, and Sydney.
He believes that BiH has very talented people, natural beauty, and wealth, but the main issue is that there is very little justice, democracy, and freedom of speech in which is valued expertise, work, and knowledge.
“When we talk about finances, I am making big money, but the money is not everything. I went through phases of expensive cars, designer clothes and things like that, and now I am searching for ways to invest my capital. Something that will be my portfolio of properties in the UK and of course, I want to return some of that to BiH in the form of investments, probably in Kozarac,” noted Kesic.
