After several hours of inspection of the shopping mall on Vrbanja Street (Sarajevo City Center), carried out by police officers of the Police Administration of the MoI of the Canton of Sarajevo – KDZ and K9 teams, and in which teams from the Federal Police Administration, SIPA and DKPT also participated, it was determined that the report was false.

“The event has been qualified as a criminal offense of False Reporting,” the MoI of the Canton of Sarajevo announced.

As a reminder, the threatening email stated that a kilogram of explosives had been placed in the SCC.

Earlier on Thursday, it was determined that the report of a bomb placed in the Alta shopping mall in Sarajevo was also false.

“The KDZ inspection of the shopping mall on Franca Lehara Street has been completed. The event has been qualified as a criminal offense of ‘False Reporting’,” announced Mersiha Novalić, spokesperson for the Ministry of the Interior of the Canton of Sarajevo.
