Famous BH Journalist Mirza Sadikovic died after severe Illlines

After a short and severe illness, a 65-year-old journalist Mirza Sadikovic died in Bihac on Friday. He has been a journalist since 1984 when he worked on the “Oslobodjenje” newspapers, and from 1987 to 2015 he worked for Radio TV Sarajevo, Radio TV BiH, and for Federal TV and BHT1.

He is the winner of the biggest journalist’s acknowledgment in BiH – “Srdan Aleksic” Award for Continuous Human Rights Reporting and Development of Socially Responsible Journalism and Contribution to BiH Building, Promotion of Human Rights, Empathy and Sensibilization of the Public for True Civilization Values.

In addition, he is the winner of the award of “Union for Sustainable Return and Integration of BiH” for the unselfish long term contribution and support to refugees and displaced persons, implementing Annex 7 of the Dayton Peace Accords, and this year also received the most recognition of the City of Bihac, the “February 26” Charter.

The funeral will take place on Saturday, at Humci after the prayer the commemorative session will be held at 11:00 o’clock in the Cultural Center in Bihac.
