FBiH Government has considered the conclusion about Proposal of the Law on the Protection of Guarantors in FBiH, whose proposer was the representative in the RS House of Representatives Aida Čikić.

During debate, it was noted that the Law has many good regulations for that improve the editing of a contractual relationship between credit institutions, their clients and those that guarantee the fulfilment of their contractual obligations.

Thus, it was proposed that those regulations enter the Law on the Protection of Users of Financial Services, which would fulfil the aim and purpose of this law.

This way the field of the protection of consumers, and guarantors belong in that category, would be regulated in accordance with the EU directives and practices.

Taking into account recommendations of the World Bank, the harmonization of legal solutions which are already in effect in RS would be achieved.
