FBIH Prime Minister Received Turkish Delegation of State Company MKEK

niksic (1)The Prime Minister of BiH Nermin Nikšić received a delegation of Turkish state company MKEK, led by Admiral Izzet Artunc.

This company signed an agreement on cooperation with UNIS Group d.o.o in accordance with whom it signed several agreements with BiH companies from the area of defense production.

At the fair for the defense industry, which was held in Istanbul in May this year, MKEK and UNIS Group presented the defense industry of the FBiH and its potential.

The established cooperation between the two companies decided to intensify and expand and discussions continued on cooperation for several important projects.

Artunc informed Prime Minister Nikšić on the intents of their company for the existing cooperation with companies in the FBiH to improve, but also to begin discussions on future production and joint appearance on third markets.

Prime Minister Nikšić said that one of the priorities of the government is the resurgence of the military industry and to some extent, through the resources of the FBIH Development Bank, to help this perspective strategic economic sector.

The Prime Minister also welcomed the cooperation with MKEK, which together can achieve growth and the development of the defense industry, and concrete ways of improving and intensifying business relations were proposed.

As part of the visit, MKEK delegation will visit several leading producers from the defense industry in the FBiH, announced the Public Relations Office for the FBiH government.
