The Federal Police Administration reacted regarding the use of helicopters of the Special Police Unit in the Federal Police Administration on July 11, 2023, and announced that there was, neither misuse of helicopters nor, due to complex procedures, is it at all possible for any misuse of helicopters to occur in the Federal Administration of the police.

“Representative in the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Arnel Isak, was transported by helicopter of the Federal Police Administration after learning about Isak’s threat and carrying out security assessments by authorized officials. Reports were made on all of the above, and the ride was carried out after obtaining all the necessary procedural approvals “, it was announced from the Federal Police Administration.

They stated that the head of the Minister’s Cabinet, Ervin Mušinović, informed the public about the aforementioned facts in a timely manner.

“In order to protect the interests of the Federal Police Administration, we are obliged to point out that there was no misuse of helicopters, nor is it possible, due to complex procedures, for any misuse of helicopters in the Federal Police Administration,” they pointed out, and added:

“The date of the helicopter’s departure from Bratunac, i.e. its arrival in Sarajevo, was adapted to the previously assumed obligations of Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak. Therefore, Minister Isak did not request that the previously determined departure time be moved or adapted to Representative Isak”.

As they stated, the driving of representative Isak did not cause financial costs for the Federal Police Administration, because the helicopter was certainly moving on the route Bratunac – Sarajevo.

“The Federal Police Administration, due to the protection of the interests of the service and the case related to endangering the security of representative Isak, will no longer comment on the said issue,” the FUP pointed out.
