Analysis: Increase of 12 Percent of State Aid given in 2016

At its last session, the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Report on the BiH’s State Aid in 2016.

According to the BiH State Aid Advisory ServiceBiH gave state aid in the total amount of 341.233.224,00 BAM or 174.469.777,02 Euros, which represents an increase of 41.536.203,00 or 12.17 percent compared with 2015.

State aid was given mostly in the sector of industry and services to promote regional development, to carry out services of economic interest, and in the field of agriculture and fisheries.

The Annual Report on Assigned State Aid to BiH in 2016 was made on the basis of annual reports on the allocated state aid by the Council of Ministers of BiH, and which was submitted by the Ministry of Foreign Trade of Economic Relations of BiH.
