Federation of BiH records Decrease in Production of Forest Assortments

The total production of forest assortments in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period January-July, compared to the same period in 2022, is lower by 138,000 m3 or 12.2 percent.

The production of assortments from conifers is lower by 54,000 m3 (9.1 percent) compared to the same period last year, while the production of assortments from hardwoods is lower by 84,000 m3, or 15.8 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

The total sale of forest assortments in the period January-July 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, is lower by 170,000 m3 or 15.3 percent.

The sale of conifer assortments is lower by 72,000 m3 (12.2 percent) compared to the same period a year earlier, while the sale of hardwood assortments is lower by 98,000 m3 or 18.9 percent, Fena reports.
