542cf6b2-9158-4391-b040-6182d973813e-bit-camp-previewIt looks like it’s not going to be easy to get into BIT camp. Only the most enduring ones who pass the rigorous tests will stay. According to the indications so far, less than 5 % of interested candidates will have the chance to participate at the BIT camp.

During the application phase, the candidates need to take the initial IQ and motivation test at the BIT camp website. Those who pass this step are invited to take a written test of endurance, intelligence and character. The final level of the assessment is conceived as an interview.

“The way to get an employment is not easy. The BIT camp is an intensive course of software development. Through six months of education we try to create quality software developers who will be ready to take the leading positions in the biggest IT companies in B&H right away. We don’t want to take risks by receiving students for whom we are not sure whether they can take the pressure. That’s why the testing is so demanding.” – said Damir Ibrišimović, president of the BIT Alijansa, organization founded by 6 leading IT companies in B&H.

“According to the first results of the tests at the BIT camp assessment centre, the most successful ones are translators, students of political sciences, psychology and informatics. The one thing they all have in common is the ability to solve logic problems, endurance and desire to get an employment in the IT industry. We don’t insist on having previous programming skills. We are just looking for intelligent students.” – said the organizers at the BIT camp.

The applications are open until October 10th and the classes should start in the first week of November. The message of the BIT camp is clear: if you consider yourself to be intelligent and ambitious, don’t hesitate to apply and try to get a job in the most attractive industry today.
