Federation of BiH records Increase of Twenty Percent in Tourist Arrivals

The total number of tourist arrivals in June 2023 in the Federation of BiH was 118,045, which is 19.5 percent more compared to June 2022, and 0.5 percent more than in May 2023.

The participation of domestic tourists in the total number of arrivals was 25 percent, while the participation of foreign tourists was 75 percent.

The number of overnight stays by tourists in FBiH in June was 233,488, which is 11.4 percent more than in June 2022, and 3.5 percent more than in May. The participation of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 25.4 percent, and the participation of foreign tourists was 74.6 percent.

In terms of overnight stays of foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were realized by tourists from Turkey (12.4 percent), Croatia (8.9 percent), Germany (5.7 percent), Poland (5.6 percent) and the USA (5. 3 percent) which is a total of 37.9 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 62.1 percent of overnight stays, Fena reports.
