In Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to the currently available synoptic maps, until the end of the month, sunny and dry weather will prevail with very little cloudiness and high air temperatures. According to the forecasts of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute (FHMZ) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, temperatures will rise this week.

From mid-week with another heat wave this year, the days could be more bearable. The peak of the heat wave is expected for the weekend, FHMZ points out.

More temperature values are forecast in the south of Herzegovina, and in the central areas of Bosnia, with slightly lower daily temperatures, freshness in the morning hours is certain until Friday.

The minimum morning air temperature will vary from 15 to 22 degrees in Bosnia, in the south of the country up to 26. The highest daily temperature will be between 32 and 39, in the south of the country up to 42 degrees.

High temperatures and a high index of UV radiation can have a harmful effect on the health of the population.

Also, high temperatures, dry air and low humidity will favor the occurrence of fires. The recommendation for the public is to regularly follow the notifications and warnings (Meteoalarm) of the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute and other competent institutions and to adhere to the given instructions, emphasized the FHMZ.
