The film by BH director Danis Tanovic “Death in Sarajevo” has been included in the official selection of the upcoming awards ceremony of the European Film Academy.
The 29th award of the European Film Awards will take place on the 10th of December 2016 in Wrocław (Poland), and besides the work of BH Oscar winner, in the selection are also 49 best titles from the Old Continent in the competition for the best feature films.
European Film Award was called Felix until 1997. Last year, for the best film was proclaimed the “La giovinezza” (Youth) by Paolo Sorrentino.
Another representative of the region is a movie “On The Other Side” by Zrinko Ogresta, which is registered as a representative of Serbia and Croatia.
“Death in Sarajevo” already won the award of the Berlin International Film Festival “Golden Bear”, as well as the award of the Federation of Film Critics.
