Film of Faruk Lončarević “Sa mamom” will be shown from 4 July, at the regular repertoire in the cinema Meeting Point.
This film had its world premiere at the last year’s Sarajevo Film Festival, where was awarded with Cineeuropa award.
“Sa mamom” is a story about Berina, a young artist who tries to live her newly discovered sexuality and to accept unrelenting death of the mother. A dominant woman, a mother, a doctor and a pillar of the family, enters the terminal phase of breast cancer, suffering for already nine years. Her husband Mladen does not know how to handle it. Living in her own world, surrounded by her family with whom she does not know how to communicate, Berina, for the good of the family, tries to save her mother in the only way she knows – through magic, rituals, religion … The main roles in the film have: Marija Pikić, Mira Furlan, Branko Đurić and Sanja Vejnović.
Film “Sa mamom” will be shown at 21:00.
