Sarajevo firefighters have had several interventions over low-altitude fires and negligent citizens.  They received their last call in the evening, just before 9pm on Tuesday.

The fire happened on Zuc Hill, is confirmed for the Klix.ba news portal at the Professional Fire Brigade of Sarajevo Canton.

“It’s a low altitude, one firefighting team and the police are on the ground. We urge citizens to behave responsibly and not fire low altitudes to prevent the spread of fire. More details will be known later, but it is likely that the mined portion of the hill is burning,” is stated from the Professional Fire Brigade of Sarajevo Canton. More details on the causes of the outbreak will be known later.
