BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Covic will, on the first day of the presidency on July 17, reside in Brussels where he will meet with Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.

On the same day, he will also meet with Johannes Hahn, the Commissar for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, as well as with Donald Tusk, the President of the European Council.

On July 18, on the second day of his stay in Brussels, BiH Presidency Chairman will meet with Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.

According to the Article V of the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina consists of three members: one Bosniak and one Croat elected from the Federation and one Serb elected from the Republika Srpska. Together, they serve one four-year term.

The member with the most votes becomes the chairperson unless he or she was the incumbent chairman at the time of the election, but the chairmanship rotates every eight months, to ensure equality.
