With the adoption of a joint declaration in Belgrade, the first regional meeting of parliamentary bodies for human and minority rights and gender equality ended.
Participants exchanged views on the roles of parliamentary bodies in the protection of human rights, the rights of national minorities and gender equality, and determining the ways to further improve cooperation.
On behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H, the first regional meeting was attended by the Chair of the Joint Committee on Human Rights, Rights of Children, Youth, Immigration, Refugees, Asylum and Ethics of the Parliamentary Assembly of B&H Aleksandra Pandurević and the Deputy Chair Nermina Kapetanović, the Deputy Chair and member of the Commission on Gender Equality of the B&H Parliamentary Assembly House of Representatives Milica Marković and Zijad Jagodić, announced the Public Relations Office of the B&H Parliamentary Assembly.
