Five people were arrested in the action codenamed “Cage” on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of Illicit Manufacturing and Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs have been given one-month custody on Tuesday, the Banja Luka District Court confirmed.

Sava Colic (1988), Dragan Narancic (1993), Lora Glusica (1999) and Radovan Stankovic (1971) from Banja Luka and Vinko Djuric (1988) from Doboj were arrested.

From August 2019 to February this year, they mediated the sale and purchase of narcotic drugs and illicitly marketed heroin, marijuana, AIDS and other substances to users in the Banja Luka area.

They were deprived of their liberty within the framework of several months of joint action by the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Banja Luka, the Directorate for Organized and Serious Crime of the RS MUP, and the police departments of Banja Luka, Zvornik, Doboj and Bijeljina.

District Prosecutor’s Office in Banja Luka made a motion for detention on the grounds of the risk of escape, the existence of a well-founded fear that the suspect would be disturbed by criminal proceedings by influencing witnesses, and the existence of particular circumstances justifying the fear that they would repeat the crime.
