jahorinabusinessThe Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanić two days ago opened the international professional and scientific conference “Jahorina Business Days”, and the theme this year is “Tourism in the function of economic development”.

Ivanić stressed that tourism does not involve large investments and that it can bring quick results, but we have not yet achieved that yet. He added that the guidelines for that cannot be given by politicians but only by the professional community.

For the fourth year in a row this event is organized by the Faculty of Economics, University of East Sarajevo, together with the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the University, and this year’s co-organizers are the Faculty of Economics in Subotica and Podgorica.

75 works of scientists and students from universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia and Germany will be presented during the conference.

A presentation of traditional gastronomic dishes of the Sarajevo – Romanija region will take place as well as a visit to Jahorina’s tourist destinations and attractions of the area.
