Foreign Exchange Reserves of the Central Bank of BiH decrease by 30 Million BAM

The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of BiH at the end of March amounted to 16.9 billion KM and are 30 million KM less compared to the end of February.

On an annual basis, foreign exchange reserves increased by 872.2 million KM or 5.4 percent, the Central Bank of BiH announced.

Total loans to domestic sectors at the end of March amounted to 26.46 billion KM and compared to the previous month, an increase in loans of 396.6 million KM or 1.5 percent was recorded.

Credit growth was registered with households by 176.3 million KM or 1.4 percent, private enterprises by 193.6 million KM or 1.8 percent, and government institutions by 39.6 million KM or three percent.

Loans decreased on a monthly basis with non-financial public enterprises by 12.2 million KM or 1.9 percent and with other domestic sectors by 0.8 million KM or 0.3 percent.

The annual growth rate of total loans in March was 10 percent, nominally 2.41 billion KM.

Annual growth in loans was registered in the household sector by 1.17 billion KM or 9.8 percent, private enterprises by 887.1 million KM or 8.8 percent, government institutions by 263 million KM or 23.6 percent, non-financial public enterprises by 35.9 million KM or six percent, and other domestic sectors by 54.9 million KM or 21.6 percent.
