The former mayor of the Stari Grad Municipality, Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, who was placed in the Zenica Penitentiary after being arrested for abuse of office, was transferred to the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo today after his health worsened.
According to information from Klix.ba, Hadibajrić was brought today at noon by members of the prison police in Zenica because of worsening heart problems, and he is placed in the premises for cardiovascular problems in Koševo.
There, he was taken over by members of the prison police of KPZ Sarajevo, who additionally engaged other police forces in terms of external security, appreciating that this is a person who is in detention with a high risk.
Due to security reasons, Klix.ba does not publish the number of engaged policemen, however, according to their knowledge, the security of Hadžibajrić is implemented in accordance with the work plan and dealing with high-risk persons. The increased presence of the police is also noticeable in the vicinity of KCUS, as well as in the area of the Koševo settlement.
Hadžibajrić will remain at KCUS until the decision of the medical council on his further treatment.
