It is time for big infrastructure projects, it was stated in Brussels at the meeting between the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina Edin Forto and the European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi.

“The completion of the motorway on Corridor Vc, as well as more active investment in the construction of railway routes and the connection of our country with the rest of Europe, is what citizens expect from European integration and what we are obliged to deliver,” Forto stressed.

Forto emphasizes that the Ministry’s priorities are for Bosnia and Herzegovina to catch up with European projects and initiatives in the field of digitization and broadband Internet access.

It was concluded that cooperation will be intensified with the aim of consolidating BiH candidate status and the final start of the negotiation process for full membership in the European Union.
