Four Victims of the past War identified in BiH

Today, four victims of the past war were officially identified at the Commemorative Center in Tuzla. These are victims of Bosniak nationality who disappeared in 1992 and 1995 in the area of ​​Zvornik, Bratunac and Srebrenica.

These victims were previously identified using the DNA method, and today their families have officially confirmed their identity.

Today, Mustafa (Mehmed) Husić from Brezovica near Srebrenica was officially identified. He was 21 when he disappeared in the Bratunac area in 1995. His remains were exhumed in 2020 at the Kamenicko brdo site, Bratunac. The family also confirmed the identity of Mustafa (Ragib) Mešanović, born in 1961 in Milačevići near Srebrenica. His remains were exhumed from the Zeleni Jadar mass grave in 2006. The remains of Hurija (Redža) Hajdarović, born in 1912 in Kamenica near Zvornik, have also been officially identified. She disappeared in 1992 in Donja Kamenica near Zvornik. Her remains were exhumed in 2019 on Glođanski brdo, Zvornik. Vehid (Avde) Mandžo, born in 1967, from Novaković near Gorazde, was also identified. He disappeared in 1992 in the area of ​​Križević near Zvornik, and his remains were found in 2013 at the Planinci site, Zvronik.
