Family members, as well as numerous citizens, will escort the remains of 10 victims of the genocide committed in the summer of 1995 in the area of Srebrenica from Visoko tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., who will be buried at the collective funeral on July 11 in the Srebrenica Memorial Center – Potočari.

It is planned that the motorcade will stop briefly in Ilijaš and Vogošća, and in Sarajevo, in front of the BiH Presidency building, in front of the Monument to the Murdered Children of Sarajevo, next to the Markala market and in front of the Town Hall.

After that, they will head towards Srebrenica, where a stop is planned in front of the City Mosque, and then towards Potočari, where the coffins with the remains of the murdered victims will be received in the afternoon.

As in previous years, it is expected that many citizens will come out to see off this sad column on its way to Potočari, and family members, friends, citizens of Sarajevo, officials of all levels of government in BiH, individual ambassadors and representatives of international organizations, and representatives of the Islamic Community in BiH will do so in front of the BiH Presidency building.

In silence, which is broken by occasional sobs, by reciting the Fatiha or in another appropriate way, and by placing flowers on the vehicles that transport the coffins, they pay their respects to the innocent victims and send them on their way to Potočari, where they will be buried brother next to brother, son next to father, cousin next to cousin.
