b_160417023On Saturday night gold medals were awarded to PhD. Fikret Alic, in Tuzla, Ivan Milicevic from Herzegovina and dr. Zehrudin Osmanović from Lukavac.

Alic has presented a new heating system, in which the electrical power source is automatically adjusted according to the needs of electrical consumers. The originality of the invention can be seen with the example of electric hotplates: only the surface of the plate which is covered with the bottom of the vessel is heated , with water, food or something third which is to be heated. The source is adjusted by volume and length of heating of a given object.

For an invention that allows the hazardous chemical residue to be converted into useful cement, Osmanovic has received the highest accolades in all innovations which were introduced in recent months: Istanbul, Krakow, Nuremberg, Paris, Seoul … The waste we get by production of edible salt and baking soda, and which is deposited in large dumps, called “white sea”, threaten land, flora, fauna and people.

The highest recognition was given to Ivan Milicevic for “lasting basis for honeycomb”. According to beekeepers it is practically indestructible, and can be renewed every 3-5 years, simply by washing it in hot water. It’s made of biodegradable components, pure wax, powder ground shell corn grain (99.9 percent pure calcium carbonate).

Borko Babalj, from Trebinje (hermetic ashtray), the trio Halilovic from Kladanj – Ademir, Avdo and Emsad (holder of medical containers) and Mato Bilić, from Zenica (hook with internal spines) recieved silver medals.

The bronze medal was won by Asim Kadri, from Sarajevo, for his umbrella, which is carried without hands.

Jean-Luc Vincent, president of Salon innovation Geneva, awarded the gold watch to the General Secretary AIBIH Hujić Husein, as a special recognition for long-term cooperation, merciless work and contribution to the development and promotion of innovation.
