Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Resource Management Aleksandar Goganović and Military Envoy of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH Colonel Marc Abendrith signed in Sarajevo the annexes of the Technical Arrangement for the donation of funds for infrastructure works at military locations in Živinice and Mrkonjić-Grad.

The signed annexes include the donation of funds for the reconstruction of the water supply network at the Airport and the AFBiH barracks “Dubrave” in Živinice and the reconstruction of the hydrant network in the AFBiH warehouse “Tower 1” in Mrkonjić-Grad.

On this occasion, Goganović thanked Colonel Abendrith for the excellent cooperation between the ministries of defense of the two countries and the continuous assistance that Germany provides in improving the infrastructure facilities of the Armed Forces of BiH.

“The Federal Republic of Germany is our reliable partner. We are especially grateful for the continuous support it provides us in the implementation of infrastructure projects, which are perhaps the most important for us, because they directly help improve the living conditions and work of our soldiers,” Goganović emphasized.

Colonel Abendrith thanked the MoD and the Armed Forces of BiH for the good cooperation with the German side and expressed his belief that further support for the Armed Forces of BiH will not be lacking, the Public Relations Office of the Ministry of Defense of BiH announced.
