Danny-Glover-9313434-1-402The Hollywood actor and goodwill ambassador of UNICEF Danny Glover spent time today with the boys and girls from B&H which in Sarajevo compete in the finals of BH Telecom Youth Sports Games.

The actor and producer played the game” between two fires” with boys and girls from 19 B&H cities, painted and talked with participants of most massive sports games in B&H.

“Sports teach you many beautiful and valuable things in life. You gain many friends and learn to be a team member. Teams are successful when players work together, and that is something you learn through life”, said Glover.

The actor said that the children of B&H are gorgeous, like all the children of the world, and for that he was convinced when he got involved in humanitarian work.

“I was in small villages in Africa and in major cities of South America to met children who live there. I realized that all children are the same clever, imaginative and full of life”, said Glover.

He added that his favorite sports are basketball, and football, and that he knows that are popular in B&H as well as baseball – one of the most popular sports in the United States.

The Hollywood star Danny Glover has arrived in Sarajevo last night as a guest of the Sarajevo Film Festival. At the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina he came in the role of curator of Katrin Cartlidge Foundation. Glover as the curator of Katrin Cartlidge Foundation will present this year’s awards of this foundation.
