Goran Miljanovic is guilty of the continued Criminal Offense of Tax Evasion

Having considered and approved the guilty plea agreement, on December 24th, 2018 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina delivered the judgment finding the accused Goran Miljanovic guilty of the continued criminal offense of Tax Evasion or Fraud under Article 210(3) as read with Article 54 of the Criminal Code of BiH.

The Court imposed a probation whereby the accused Goran Miljanovic was sentenced to 2 (two) years, while it was stipulated that the sentence would not be executed unless the accused commits another criminal offense within 4 (four) years of the date when the judgment becomes final.

The ill-gotten gain in the amount of 72,988.00 KM shall be confiscated from the accused Goran Miljanovic. If the accused does not return the ill-gotten gain within the given time-frame, pursuant to Article 63(1) of the CC BiH, the Court shall revoke the probation and commit the accused to serve his sentence of imprisonment.

Pursuant to Article 188(1) of the BiH Criminal Procedure Code, the accused shall reimburse the costs of criminal proceedings, the amount of which will be determined by the Court after it has obtained the relevant data.
