kuwaitKuwait’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nasser Al-Mutairi affirmed his country’s willingness to continue bilateral defensive cooperation with Bosnia.

Currently, defensive cooperation is limited, but it could form a new cooperation prospect that benefits defensive institutions in both countries, Ambassador Al-Mutairi stated to KUNA after his meeting with Bosnian Defense Minister Zekerijah Osmic.

During the meeting, Minister Osmic said that his ministry is looking forward to attaining joint cooperation with Kuwait, confirming availability of wide aspects of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in areas concerning maintenance of former Yugoslavia-tanks in Kuwait, in addition to field trainings, added the Kuwaiti diplomat.

Osmic also pointed out possible joint challenges in defensive fields between Kuwait and Bosnia, which could increase cooperation opportunities, Al-Mutairi said, adding that combating terrorism has become a defensive priority in the world.
