Government of Japan donated Equipment for 8 Water Utility Companies in BiH

On 31 July, Ambassador of Japan to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Hideyuki SAKAMOTO and H.E. Mato Franjičević, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended a handover ceremony of equipment for 8 water utility companies, held in Ljubuški municipality office.

This grant is a part of the Non-Project Grant Aid, and equipment such as water pumps, water leak detectors, ground penetrating radars, coordinated by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations will be installed at the water utility companies in order to improve the drinking water supply system in 8 communities: Čajniče, Gradiška, Gacko, Lopare, Stolac, Ljubuški, Foča-Ustikolina and Čelić as the 2nd trust whose value is approximately 758,000 BAM (total amount of grant 884,834 KM including the 1sttrust).

Vice Minister Mato Franjičević thanked the Japanese Government for the support which would directly benefits residents of local communities in BiH.
