Grand Prix 14th Mediterranean Film Festival Award to ‘Garden of Eden’

mff 1The Grand Prix Jack Daniels 14th Mediterranean award went to the Israeli film ‘Garden of Eden’, by director Ran Tal, while the Croatian film ‘Judgment’ by Đuro Gavran won the award for best short film. The festival ended on Saturday in Široki Brijeg.

In the competition of short films, the jury that was made up of Lucy Eaglson, Tomislav Ćavar and Jelena Jindra announced the best film to be ‘Judgment’ by Croatian director Đuro Gavran.

The third prize was decided by the public, an went to the film ‘Gangster Loves You’ by Nebojša Slijepčević.

The honor of closing the festival went to the Prime Minister of the West Herzegovina canton Zdenko Ćosić

The end of this year’s festival was marked by the B&H premiere of the film ‘Cowboys’, with director Tomislav Mršić.

This year’s festival, with 22 films in competition, seven works were shown in honor of Federico Fellini, as well as movies by local filmmakers, said in a statement by HT Eronet, which was the general sponsor of the festival.
